I have received a seller failure notification. What next?

A seller failure happens when the seller has been unable to fulfill the order. The reasons for receiving a seller failure notification could be any of these -

  • Product not being available with the seller.

  • Seller being unavailable for pickup.

  • Product failing quality check during the inspection.

  • Product not matching to the description or sending wrong items.

We take no action until seller failure rates exceed 25%.

When a seller’s failure rate exceeds 25% we disable your Elanic closet/store. You can find an option to enable your closet in Account Settings > Edit profile and continue selling again.

Here are some tips you can follow to reduce failure rates and increase your closet rating-

  • List quality products: Only list products that are wearable, do not have any hard stains and are in good condition.

  • Enter correct details: Write proper descriptions of your listings - such as color, size, brand, etc.

  • Update your closet: Make sure to mark a post unavailable if the product is not with you anymore.

  • Pack carefully: Be careful while packing tangible products.

  • Mark your availability: Make sure to put your profile on vacation mode if you are out of town.

  • Stick to the schedule: Make sure someone is available to hand over the product at the pickup address between 10 am and 7 pm on the scheduled date.
