What is GST? How to get GSTIN?
Goods and Service Tax (GST) is an indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services. The Goods and Service Tax Act was passed in the Parliament on 29th March 2017. The Act came into effect on 1st July 2017. GSTIN is a tax registration number under GST.
How to enroll for GST?
Registering for GST and obtaining GSTIN are free of cost.
There are two ways to register for GST:
Fill in all the required details in the enrollment application. Submit the enrollment application and necessary documents. Once the application is approved by the GST officer, a unique GSTIN is allocated to the dealer.
